Workshops

Workshops are the heart of Free Spirit. It's through workshops and presentations that we are able to gather, share, learn and grow as a community. We have been fortunate to have truly gifted people share their knowledge in our workshops, classes and rituals. This year's programming at FSG will include such diverse subject matter as drumming, chanting, theology, fairy lore, tai chi, reiki, dancing, diet and much much more. Click here to see this year's programming information including the schedule and list of presenters.

In addition to general programming we offer a track of programming that is for adults (not suitable for kids) and another track that is strictly for kids (not suitable for adults) as well as programming geared specifically for teens. In addition to the usual kids' programming, the Circle of Amber Rose will again be offering its School of Witchcaft & Wizardry for young children.

Workshop submissions for this year's event are no longer being accepted.

  Rituals

If workshops are the heart of Free Spirit, then rituals are our soul. There are always a variety of rituals from a broad array of traditions to choose from. Past rituals have included the BlueStar Litha, Norse Blots and Sumbels, Circle of Dark Eros Ritual, Haven Family Circle, ADF Druid Rituals as well as eclectic circles that are not tradition-specific.

There are also the festival-sponsored opening, main and closing rituals which are put on by the festival organizers. Rituals are listed in the program book. The schedule for 2010 will be posted in the Spring.
