Creating
art is intensely spiritual and magical. As Artists, we use the
tools of attention and imagination along with our skill with
words, paint, fabric, thread, music, and our bodies to bring
our visions of the Otherworld into manifestation on the physical
realm.
This track is for those who create works of art and seek an experience
of their art as spiritual practice. We will explore and express
our creativity as we interact with our gods, each other, and the
natural world. We will support each other in our creative process,
and take time to notice, imagine, and reflect. We will place our
creative flow in the context of creation myths and stories of gods
and goddesses of artistic creation.
The first night we will create a communal Artist altar, so bring
your beautiful artwork and sacred objects to decorate our temple
space.
You will need to bring your canvas, your paints, pencils, stamps,
collage papers, yarn, beads, fabric, ribbons, glue guns, cameras,
sketch books, and whatever tools of the art you use in your work.
We are co-creators with the Divine!
